Pictures from the Justice for Trayvon Rally in Columbus, Ohio

These photos are from Saturday's Justice For Trayvon rally in my hometown.  

I arrived late due to an unforeseen problem at my job and the weather. Up until Saturday we had been experiencing 100 degree plus days. It stormed and poured rain off and on during the day. I joined the participants as they were marching around through the downtown area.

These pictures were taken at the end of the rally. 

There are follow up events that are in the planning stages. I hope that the organizers do a better job of sharing that information. I did not find out about the local rally until later Friday night via a link on my Facebook newsfeed. Hopefully, there will be more communication that reaches out into the community for those people who are interested in working to help prevent another senseless murder.
