Charlotte Akuyoe Graham: Spirit Awakening

The sharing of our intimate her stories has been a resource for me as a woman. I have found myself totally fascinated with the perspectives of sistas who immigrate into cultures in which their race and gender becomes a source of challenge in terms of how they view their womanhood.

Last night I discovered an outstanding TEDxCibeles Video featuring Charlotte Akuyoe Graham sharing what her experience was like when she joined her mother in England. 

Her story is one of self-discovery and acceptance of her woman identity and how she extended out the lessons that she learned to children. Her insight and passion is remarkable!
